Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Tyler is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Tyler is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The labor&delivery and NICU nurses were all so kind and attentive to both myself and my preemie baby. 1000/10 I highly recommend having your baby hereπ I couldnβt thank them enough for taking such good care of my sweet Theo while he was there for almost two weeks. Having Dr.Yeager as my OBGYN has also been a great experience. He is super knowledgeable, takes his time with you and explains everything in detail. Phenomenal bedside manner. Thank you all so much!

I was recently admitted (08/2026) to the main hospital campus and stayed there for five days. I had absolutely fantastic experiences with nurses, techs, janitorial staff, and food service workers. Everyone was professional yet friendly, and they did a good job of making sure I knew both a) what was happening and why, and also b) what else I could ask for instead. The doctors moved in and out like clockwork once each day, brisk, yet open to quick questions if needed. (My only complaint was the noise from construction on the floors above and below mine, which couldn't be helped - they need to reopen those rooms quickly so they can serve more patients, but they can't stop using the ones they have. I get it, but I sure would have rested better if it were quieter during the day.)

I have no complaints really. Being a retired nurse I realize that being sick is more of a business than a bedside caring situation. There is no more sit down beside the ill patient, taking time to let them know you are there to help them to get well. It is a check list job now. No time for gentle kind caring. I do want to say that everyone I came in contact with was super friendly. The hospital was clean and comfortable and I had a pleasant stay. Patient care has gone by the wayside but I understand as time marches on. I recommend that a patient who is totally bedbound have a friend or relative with them to lend a helping hand.

I had a tough pregnancy, high risk. I found myself in L&D more than I would've liked. But each time my baby and I received phenomenal care. All the nurses on the L&D floor are beyond kind. I was induced and gave birth at 33 weeks, our baby was in the NICU for a month. The NICU nurses are heaven sent, beyond kind, and I knew our baby girl was in good hands while at UT. The L&D nurses would still ask about our baby when when we'd come and see her. I think of them often. Dr Bordeaux delivered our baby safely, and Dr Egly was our OB throughout my pregnancy. I'm so thankful for them and the UT health workers

Just wanted to say my visit yesterday was great! Loved Dr. Young. Such a personable and thorough doctor. His assistants are also courteous and helpful. I appreciated the time he took to listen to my medical issues. He was also my husbandβs surgeon who had multiple herniaβs. Thank God for such a brilliant and dedicated surgeon and doctor. I would totally recommend him as a surgeon to anyone that needs to find a great one. Loved all his staff. Five Stars from me & my husband! π π π π π
